These were just for fun and to add to my book that I show clients. I have others I can't wait to put up, but they're being submitted to several fashion magazines, so they cannot be posted anywhere on the web. Til then, I hope these satisfy your eyes- I know you all are unbearably missing my lovely face oh so much!! hehe ;-)
As for life, I have been reading two books non-stop and slapping my hand from picking up another. I've said it before and it bears repeating; this hunger for knowledge is both a gift and a curse. I love to learn more than anything and we're all "enrolled in the school of life."
However, another key point I've put to mind lately stems from various passages from several different works and a quote from the book Days of Joy, which reads "Without action, all the wise insights in the world won't put us in a better place." This statement and many alike have lead me to create vibrantly colored posters and sticky notes that I post on the wall adjacent to my bed, serving as reminders. All pointing to the fact, that you can acquire all the tools and knowledge to fix your problems and make changes in your life, but you have to convert them into action. I created the broken car analagy to help myself focus and take action.
MY ANALAGY:
Reading all the self-help books, do-it yourself articles, taking the courses, buying the tools, asking others for advice, etc... all these actions are parts of many different fixing scenarios everybody uses through out their life, but often people do not take the next step, which is put what they have gained, the knowledge and/or tools, TO USE. It is like taking the courses and buying all the tools to fix your broken car, and then putting the tools in the shed and moving on with life. If you don't actually take the time, effort, and action to fix the car, it doesn't matter whether you know how to or not, it's going to remain broken in that garage, until you do something about it. So now that you have the knowledge and the tools, stop worrying about messing up or failure or whatever it is that holds you back... and fix the damn car already!! :-D
RESULTS REQUIRE EFFORT & YOU CAN DO ANYTHING YOU PUT YOUR MIND TO-
Believe in yourself and in your abilities and endless possibilities ensue.
Love you all.
Always and Forever
Amy Lynn
