The Alchemist is the story of a young shepard boy in Spain named Santiago. It seems Santiago would rather travel the world and experience life with very little, always in search of food and water, traveling day and night with little possessions, and only the company of his sheep; then to live the working farm life and play it safe, earning a living doing the same thing every day, with the security his family presence, with food and shelter provided.
The introduction suggests this is a story filled not only with wisdom, but life lessons, as this boy sets out on a journey to discover a treasure, he uncovers a greater treasure- his personal legend, his destiny, learning about love and how to touch the soul of the world, and this book is said to be able to be interpretted in many different ways. I AM VERY EXCITED TO READ THIS & WILL GIVE YOU MY OWN REVIEW LATER.
UPDATE ON MY CRAZY- SPUR OF THE MOMENT- PLANNED BUT UNPLANNED- ORGANIZED BUT SPONTANEOUS- EVER CHANGING- LIFE :::::
Two nights ago I went to the GenArt 10th anniversary Styles Fashion Show, where I wore the designer dieu ex machina's clothes on the Red Carpet. Paparazzi Snapping Pictures!! :-) The host, who I met later and kind of made fun of.. ooops. lol--- was Robert Verdi, a host for E, entertainment tv. It was such a fun event that my friend David got me involved with and I brought my friend Blaga who models too, with me. It's really all about connections here in the city--- quite a lovely thing though! :-)

I am shooting today- for a possible magazine submission- & just found out one of my previous shoots was accepted to the magazine LA'G. I will give you ALL THE details when I find out!! :-D
TONIGHT I'M GOING TO AN INDUSTRY EVENT WITH A FEW PHOTOGRAPHERS - NOT REALLY SURE OF THE DETAILS- BUT ALWAYS AN OPPORTUNITY TO MEET AND NETWORK AT AN EVENT FULL OF PHOTOGRAPHERS!!
I was unsure of my plans for the summer- but have now arranged to stay in the city!! Working hard and pushing myself further and harder than ever!! & I really just want to say a few things to my family:
MY LOVING FAMILY IS THE GREATEST BLESSING I COULD EVER RECEIVE- SINCERE THANKS TO MY FAMILY FOR ALL THEIR LOVE, ENCOURAGEMENT, AND SUPPORT. WITHOUT THEM- I WOULD NOT BE 1/2 OF WHAT I AM TURNING OUT TO BE!! I AM SO GRATEFUL!! HAVING BEEN THERE FOR ME THROUGH THE GOOD AND THE BAD- & I WILL LOVE YOU ETERNALLY & DEDICATE WHO I AM AND WHO I BECOME TO YOU.
MUCH LOVE TO ALL OF YOU; ESPECIALLY my Grandmother, Grandfather, & Mother!
Life truely is like a box of chocolates (in my case, Sugar Free- Fat free Chocolate pudding. haha) You NEVER know what you're going to get next. Life is full of ups and downs, one minute your up, one minute your down, whether it comes to money, status, your mood.... whatever the case, just know--- the sun will always shine again, just give it a little time and always believe... Be Optimistic!! Life is more enjoyable that way! xoxo
Here's my FAVORITE new picture!! Hope you like :-)

Love you all!! Always and Forever!! xoxo
