SORRY- It's been a while

SORRY!!! I really wish I had written over the past few days, but I let "of the moment priorities" take over my life again- you know, the every day daily tasks you set out to accomplish, well it seemed like I had a football team of a list and started tackeling head on. I got a lot of them accomplished- & realized once again, it never makes you feel half as good as you think it's going to, to finish your list of little tasks:: so I told myself I need to stop worrying so much & things will work out, because everything happens for a reason!! & it will all work out in the end!

I've also been running around a lot for work- which consists of about 3-5 castings spread around the city everyday, discussing shoots/concepts/and ideas with new photographers, practicing my runway walk, and personal grooming- lol :-)

I've been researching new mositurizers and different products to boost appearance- that's kind of an important thing in this industry- looking for products that help show more life and vibrance & really illuminate my face, skin, and hair, so that when I walk through the door, people say WOW LOOK AT HER- because in NYC, pretty faces and skinny bodies are A DIME A DOZEN- there are roughly 500-600 other female models running around in search of jobs in NY-- THATS A LOT OF GOOD LOOKING COMPETITION.

Lately, I've been discipling myself to work on my posture and reading articles on EXUDING CONFIDENCE. It's all about impressing others(especially CLIENTS) with your looks, drive, charisma, personalilty, passion... & it's important to look confident and calm- like your experienced and relaxed- but also stand out & make an impression- you get the picture... & speaking of pictures--- I should have some new one's relatively soon, I'm waiting on two photographers to get some back to me.

I am reading this new book by the famous "painter of light" Thomas Kinkade. I am really enjoying it. It is very inspirational and empowering, focusing on connecting with your inner being. I have always been surrounded by his work, as my Mother had many of his paintings in our home as I grew up, I have found a deeper appreciation for art and creative expression in all forms lately.

BASICALLY:: I'm just thankful to wake up every morning healthy and alive- ready to take on each NEW day and all the opportunities life presents me!! :-)

HOPE ALL IS WELL IN EVERYONE'S LIVES-
Love:: Always and Forever

Amy Lynn
